Age six, most of us were running around with grazed knees or perfecting our culinary skills in the making of mud pies. Not Kael. She’d already swallowed a dictionary and decided that palaeontology was her future.
So, how do you go from wanting to be a palaeontologist – and lots of other things in between – to becoming a lighting designer? Well it’s easy, Kael’s a through and through theatre kid – she’s been involved in every aspect (even acting, which she was rubbish at) and became obsessed with the technology of lighting. Add that to a love of architecture and voilà.
A self-confessed “nerd” Kael loves nothing more than a good challenge to test her skills and add to her continual thirst for learning.
