At 5000sqm this is Asia’s largest beauty hall and to standout in the ever-competitive beauty market it’s had a top-notch refurbishment. The result is some seriously sophisticated retail space right in the heart of Bangkok.
Our job in the makeover was to give specialist lighting advice, collaborating with the interior designers on an architectural lighting design scheme that helped meet the brief: a beauty hall with personality, that’s modern, strong and confident.
We made sure the flexible solution supports visual merchandising by integrating display lighting into custom fixturing to create focal points. Brand names and cosmetic products aren’t just highlighted – they “pop” and “sparkle” catching the shopper’s attention… drawing them in.
By removing visual clutter the space was opened up, making way for two bespoke chandeliers: made up of acrylic batons washed with light they unfold from a multi-layered central halo. Strong accent lighting and discrete background illumination highlight the showpieces and, importantly, help create the overall ambience the hall needed.
