Nulty's taking to the stage in Abu Dhabi
Hot on the heels of opening our new lighting design office in Dubai we’re excited to be participating in the upcoming, highly anticipated LuxLive Middle East 2016. Taking place over two days (13-14 April) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre this lighting exhibition is “set to be the most talked about lighting event ever staged in the region”.
Our own Paul Nulty is one of the top speakers forming part of the inspirational programme. He’ll be talking on the first day about one of his favourite topics “How to brand with light”. This comes under the sector of Hospitality & Leisure and will take place in the Lightspace Arena at 12:30, Wednesday 13 April.
Paul will also be discussing the “Seven lighting techniques every retailer should know” in the Retail sector. Find out more about the approach of a lighting designer and which retailers are getting it right and wrong – head to the Lux Arena at 17:10, Wednesday 13 April.
And, on the second day Paul and Rodrigo Roveratti will both join an expert panel to talk about “What clients need to know about lighting designers”. We’re sure they’ll have a lot to say about maximising the profession’s contribution to the success of a project! Find out more at the Lightspace Arena at 11:30, Thursday 14 April.
Continuing under the Hospitality & Leisure umbrella, our Director Mark Vowles will offer up his expertise in a panel discussion about “Trends in hospitality lighting”. What’s driving the trends? What are the expectations of customers? What is the direction of travel? And where should we look to for inspiration? All will be on the agenda. The Lightspace Arena is where it’s all at, 16:00 Wednesday 13 April.
Lastly, as we know from LuxLive here in the UK, it wouldn’t be the same without some awards being handed out! The Lux Awards Middle East will be held on the exhibition’s second day and Mark will have his critiquing hat on as he’s got a seat on the judging panel.
