The design industry in 2021

For this month’s female-focused edition of Commercial Interior Design magazine, I was given the opportunity to write an article about the chaos of 2020 and how 2021 could be seen in a new perspective.

Inspiration for my feature came during lockdown in Dubai, as I was reading a book called “Factfulness: The reasons we’re wrong about the world – and why things are better than you think”. Yes, I know what you’re probably thinking: really, during a global pandemic?! 

But it got me thinking. Thinking about the design industry and how, despite what’s going on, there are still loads of things we can look forward to. Have a read here.
