Sheila studied Architecture at Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines. After graduating, she joined an architectural practice in Manila before relocating to Singapore, where an unexpected move into lighting design ignited a lasting fascination with the relationship between light and architecture.
Now based in Bangkok, she combines her architectural training with that passion for light. Having lived and worked across Southeast Asia, she also brings a rich cultural perspective to her work, drawing inspiration from the innovation of Singapore, the vibrant culinary and design scene in Bangkok, and the ever-changing qualities of urban light.
Outside the studio, Sheila is equally passionate about art and travel. Witnessing the Northern Lights in Yellowknife, Canada fulfilled a long-held ambition inspired by her love of colder climates. She also channels her creativity through acrylic flow painting, exploring the interplay of colour and movement.
