From student to teacher, Dao is at the centre of the Bangkok lighting world. She teaches at both KMUTT and ABAC Universities in the city and impresses upon her students the importance of communicating your concept to clients. Being a designer is more than focusing on making something look beautiful – it’s about showing how you intend to get there.
Dao is also a philosopher of sorts who reaches for the stars. One of her favourite books is ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne and it addresses how thoughts can directly change a person’s life. Dao’s philosophies pour into her work as a lighting designer – pair this with her dream to get to Mars and the skies the limit.
