To be involved in the lighting design and refurbishment of one of London’s most exclusive and expensive hotel suites was – to put it mildly – thrilling. Named “The Apartment”, this gem of a residence sits hidden at the top of The Connaught, and it’s where the privileged few can enjoy 24-hour butler service and their own personal chef – to name just a couple of the extraordinary benefits of staying there.
The interior designer chose a calming colour scheme of blue and lavender, and we carefully integrated lighting within the joinery and walls to create a space that glows softly and feels peaceful and relaxing. The specially commissioned fine works of art are illuminated with art lights, and we added a few spotlights to draw attention to the exquisite furniture.
