The "New Avant-Garde" retail experience in Retail Focus

Retail Focus magazine has featured the new menswear department in Selfridges, London. It’s the latest development in the department store’s “Menswear Masterplan” and Nulty played a key role in developing a sophisticated and empathic architectural lighting solution for the project.

The concept in the central atrium of the retail store allows for international designer menswear labels to be displayed and an exclusive shopping experience. Along with the new space Selfridges has also unveiled the UK’s first dedicated Personal Shopping concept for men.

The original lighting concept was developed by PJC Light Studio and Nulty was appointed to finesse and develop the detailed design, which utilises low-energy LED and ceramic metal halide luminaires to provide an innovative retail lighting solution.

The architectural lighting design plays a major part in the success of the new retail space, called Designer West, and we are excited to have been part of the process. You can read the article here.
