Nulty celebrates rebrand

There were fuzzy heads in the office last Friday, as last week saw the official launch of Nulty and we held an exclusive party at The Deck, National Theatre for clients, press and close friends to celebrate.

The launch party saw the start of a new era, with our rebrand to Nulty and a celebration of the hard work, passion and dedication of the growing lighting design team. It was a time to reflect on the past and celebrate our exciting future!

Champagne was flowing as our guests arrived early evening to amazing views across London. Editors from mondo*arc, FX magazine, BD and Retail Focus joined us alongside clients such as TfL, Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid Architects and Rock Townsend.

Now this wouldn’t be a party hosted by lighting designers without an impressive lighting scheme. For the event we designed a bespoke collection of art installations that capture the essence of the new brand and that were quite literally “more than meets the eye”. An anamorphic sculpture stood in the centre of the room, showcasing the new brand logo when viewed from certain angles and featured linear LED lights along the edge programmed with a chase sequence. Our second installation, an illuminated panel with overlapping text in different colours, gave guests a jumble of words but cleared to reveal different phrases when viewed through a coloured filter.

We would like to say a special thanks to a few people that have worked with us very closely over the last few months; Underscore our London-based branding agency, Holistic PR, Mortified Cow copywriting (thank you for the words Mish), and not forgetting Lightlab and Optelma for their help with our installations for the event.
