With a strong foundation in architecture and a passion for the interplay between light, space, and human experience, Tayseer graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Khartoum and began her career in Sudan, where she worked as both an architect and lighting designer. Her interest in lighting was sparked through internal training and courses at her previous company, leading her to transition fully into lighting design.
Before joining Nulty, Tayseer worked for three years at a lighting supply company, where she gained valuable experience in designing lighting schemes, selecting fixtures, and applying design concepts to real-world projects. Her expertise lies in balancing creative vision with technical precision, and she excels in transforming abstract ideas into impactful designs that enhance the mood and function of a space.
Outside of work, Tayseer is passionate about painting, cooking, and exploring different cultures. She’s also an avid volleyball player and a fan of Sudanese cuisine, especially Nuaimia. Having lived in Dubai after moving from Sudan, Tayseer values cultural exchange and continuous learning. Her personal mantra is, “Stay curious and keep learning,” as she believes in the power of growth and discovery.
