The interplay between light and design is what drew Cann to lighting design. With a background in landscape architecture, she spent two years shaping outdoor spaces before realising that lighting is what truly brings a design to life. Fascinated by its ability to create atmosphere and enhance spaces, she made the switch—and hasn’t looked back since.
At Nulty, Cann enjoys the variety of projects that come her way, from interiors to facades and exhibitions. She thrives on using lighting as the driving force of a design, constantly learning and pushing creative boundaries. Skilled in CAD and SketchUp, she’s a go-to in the office for technical expertise.
Outside of work, Cann is an explorer of fantasy worlds—whether in books, open-world games, or through her love of history and sci-fi. She’s also a badminton fan, a foodie at heart (with a special love for northeastern Thai cuisine), and a proud cat owner. When she needs a boost, she reminds herself: “I CAN!”—a mantra fittingly tied to her nickname.
