When it was first announced that Schnorbitz would be joining the Nulty team, a few of us were admittedly rather apprehensive: the interview process had proven beyond doubt that he had the attention span of a gnat and the creativity of a traffic warden.
So why did we hire him as our business development assistant? Because he commands attention like no one else. When we’re pitching potential clients, he knows exactly how to keep them excited about the work we can do for them, and he’s masterful in assuaging their concerns with a simple reassuring look (or cuddle). What’s more, he helps everyone overcome their “Is it rude to take the first biscuit?” awkwardness – by jumping right in and getting the ball rolling.
Having grown up surrounded by accomplished family members (his father is a world-renowned opera performer, and his twin sister is a neuroscientist), Schnorbitz will be the first to admit that he often feels the burden of expectation. But we have great faith in his abilities, and we’re confident he’ll go far within the company… as soon as he stops terrorising that bumble bee and gets back on the case with responding to emails.
