Piyusha is a Junior Lighting Designer, she supports projects with concepts, lighting calculations, design development, and execution.
She trained in Industrial Design at UID Ahmedabad before completing a Master’s in Lighting Design at Parsons School of Design in New York. Her career began in industrial design, but a growing fascination with atmosphere, emotion, and the experiential qualities of light drew her into the world of lighting.
Piyusha has a strong people-centred design perspective, and a high aptitude for lighting calculations. She sees light as capable of shaping memory and guiding emotion
Her dream project would be a museum, where subtle layers of illumination guide visitors through narrative, space, and discovery. Outside of work, Piyusha is an avid traveller drawn to mountains, forests, and coastlines, and she embraces adventure through trekking, parasailing, rafting, and kayaking.
