With a background in architecture and project management, Fylia approaches lighting design with a strong understanding of how spaces are conceived, built, and experienced. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture from the Technical University of Crete and began her career in Greece before moving to the UK to further develop her skills.
Her interest in lighting was sparked early on in her career, captivated by the moment a space comes to life when the lights are switched on. That fascination evolved into a passion for designing with light—shaping mood, enhancing materials, and enriching how people interact with their surroundings.
A dream project for her would be working on a heritage site—where lighting can celebrate the stories embedded in architecture while preserving its character.
Outside of work, Fylia enjoys sketching, scuba diving, and travelling to places where architecture and nature intersect.
