New smartphone app which lets you collect and share photographs of light
Here at Nulty we’re always on the look out for new sources of inspiration. Earlier this week we discovered LightCollector, a smartphone app by LightCollective and Philips enabling users to collect and share photographs of light.
A bit like Instagram and Pinterest the interface appears as a mood-board of uploaded images, which can be scrolled through for inspiration. The trend feature lets you see what’s hot, and the search functions let you explore the crowd-sourced collection. There is even a feature which recognises geo-tagged photographs so you can view pictures taken around you or search by place through maps – clever stuff!
LightCollector is free to download and compatible with iPhone and Android and you can also access it via the web using a computer or iPad. We have just signed up, you can follow us here.
We think LightCollector will prove to be a fun and useful tool for researching and sharing ideas.
