With a degree in architecture from Pune University, Renuka knows what it takes to illuminate a building in order for it to shine. Conceptualising schemes is what drew her to lighting design, creativity driven by logic and complexity, essentially the crux of what it means to be a lighting designer.
Every organism responds to light, as does Renuka, she is mesmerised by the Northern Lights, by fireflies, and by the way the Great Barrier Reef can glow, the list goes on… as does her curiosity surrounding light.
Renuka understands the importance in creating a dramatic interplay between light and shadow to highlight architecture and it is these technicalities that Renuka loves most about being a designer.
