Will was always eager to visit the theatre as a child, but not for the excitement on stage. Will was there for the lighting control desk at the back of the auditorium. So much so he spent more time looking backwards than he did forwards.
Will is our go-to person for anything that involves lighting stages, exhibitions, museums or artworks. He discovered architectural lighting design whilst doing a case study for his dissertation and it turned out to be the ideal combination of his stage lighting experience and studies in interior design.
When a site visit is on the cards, Will is the first to roll up his sleeves. He’s very hands-on and weirdly enjoys solving the problems that commissioning a lighting scheme can occasionally bring. Will’s skill at thinking on his feet also comes in handy at weekends, when he’s either sprinting down the wing in a game of 5-a-side or tackling the flack he gets for being the only Everton supporter in London.
