When Kajal was a youngster she would feel uncomfortable in some environments for no obvious reason. But when she got older she learnt that lighting can affect a person’s mood and the reason became clear. Roll on to university and her intrigue for lighting was fuelled while studying interior design and that was that: lighting design it was.
Rolling up her sleeves to take on challenges and overcome obstacles and restrictions is Kajal’s favourite part of being a lighting designer. She’s also a stickler for detail and will spend a good deal of time reassessing the effect of even the smallest detail on the final deliverable.
