At school Erin jumped from art classes to science lessons with more gusto than most. It’s no surprise then that she became a lighting designer – the mix of creativity and technology made perfect sense.
For Erin working out the details of a lighting scheme is like solving a good puzzle. This is where her interior design background comes in handy because she can draw on the feasibility of materials and textures when deciding where light can be concealed. And the result is one of her favourite things: light magically appearing from “nowhere”.
Erin’s magic isn’t limited to her designs – it also happens across the globe. Making a difference is big on her agenda so she travels the world volunteering. Africa is Erin’s next mission where she’ll help install solar panels at a hospital’s maternity ward.
