This isn’t just a luxury riverside hotel development that counts St Paul’s as a neighbour. It’s a luxury riverside hotel development that will provide the “missing link” to the riverside walk along the north bank of the Thames, connecting the notable and much-loved Thames Path National Trail.
After dusting off our walking boots in preparation we set to work on developing the architectural lighting design solution for the interior, exterior and public realm areas of this waterfront destination. Highlights will include a showpiece lighting installation gracing the double height reception/lobby/bar areas looking over the river, and a green wall washed with light in the porte-cochère.
Replacing three not-so-desirable 1960s office buildings the site will include guest rooms, riverside apartments, restaurants, meeting amenities and, in the basement, a pool and spa on the site of some old roman baths which we can guarantee will be just as tranquil as the original.
