Get your skates on!

A new year is just round the corner, but there’s plenty of fun to be had in what’s left of 2016.

Amongst all the festive parties and last-minute shopping we’ll be perfecting our “waltz jumps” (or, let’s be honest, trying to stay upright) on the ice at Somerset House, drinking in the dark, sitting on top of the former BBC Television Centre’s car park, watching a musical, and letting the lights lead the way at Kew Gardens:

Here’s a round-up of what we’ll be up to over the coming weeks:

Global Village – Dubai: 1 November – 9 April

Pergola on the roof – Television Centre, Wood Lane, London: 3 November – 23 December

Les Misérables – Dubai Opera: 10 November – 2 December
